On 16th October, 2014 a group of our students attended the annual Youth Voice Conference at Wallasey Town Hall, joining students from schools all over Wirral. Here they had the opportunity to find out more about the services available to support children and young people on Wirral and have their voices heard on the issues that affect them.

The Theme this year was “LOOKING OUT FOR OURSELVES AND EACH OTHER” and our students took part in a series of workshops dealing with issues such as loss and bereavement, understanding Autism and healthy relationships.

In the afternoon Wirral High School students joined in a “Hot Seat Panel” presenting questions to a panel of leading Wirral figures such as Director of Children’s Services Julia Hassell.
