We need to teach about Diversity

We were delighted to welcome Irene Afful, Merseyside's first black female inspector, to Wirral Hospitals' School to give a talk to our Key Stage 3 and Year 10 students on issues of gender and racial equality.

The visit was organised by Mrs O'Loughlin through Tuyet Ramzy at MEAS (Minority Ethinc Achievement Service) and formed part of tour ongoing work to raise awareness of issues around inequality, Britishness and living in a modern, multi-cultural society.
