Islamic workshops

Islamic workshops: Friday 12th February

KS3 : 9.30 - 10.15  a.m.

Y10 : 10.25 – 11. 10 a.m.

As part of our Religious Education curriculum, Wirral’s Minority Ethnic Achievement Service (MEAS) will be running workshops exploring Islam and what it means to be a Muslim in our increasingly multi faith society.

The workshops will be 45 minutes duration and will include:
•       a presentation on the Islamicc festival of EID and why this is an important part of being a Muslim.
•       creative activities of  colouring a prayer mat or making a 3D mosque.
•       looking at traditional Islamic clothes with an opportunity to try them on.
•       Exploration of different Islamic artefacts.

Questions and answers will be welcomed throughout the session.
