Y10 trip to Williamson Art Gallery

As Part of their English Literature study of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol', students enjoyed a Victorian workshop in which they were given the opportunity to handle a range of Victorian artefacts. The workshop focused on students evaluating the artefacts in terms of  which characters from the novella would have owned or used them.

Workshop leader, Kathy Heywood also guided students around the gallery to explore the range of art work on display.

A number of students have expressed an interest in undertaking some work experience at the gallery in the near future.
