National award for JPC

JPC achieves fantastic national recognition

The staff at Joseph Paxton Campus are proud to announce that we have been awarded Autism Accreditation Status by the National Autistic Society.

This is a nationally recognised, and hugely prestigious, award which acknowledges schools that go above and beyond in their efforts to ensure the very best learning and social environment for young people with Autism Spectrum Condition.

It has taken almost two years to reach this point and we have been assessed several times during this period, including a final three day assessment in September.

One significant factor in us achieving this status, has been the contribution of our students from the ASC focus group. We are extremely proud of these contributions and feel very lucky to have such knowledgeable and committed young people. We will continue this work and regularly seek their advice in our drive to constantly improve the school.

Please see below for some quotes from the inspection feedback report. The full report is available as a downloadable document at the end of this article.
