Mosque Visit November 2014

Mosque visit - Thursday 6th November
As part of their Religious Education curriculum, Key Stage 3 and Year 10 students visited the Mosque in Birkenhead. Students were given a tour of the Mosque by the Imam (Mosque leader) who was supported by Tuyet Ramzy from Wirral's Minority Ethnic Achievement Service (MEAS). Muslim students from Wirral Hub School, Woodlands Primary, demonstrated Islamic washing and prayer rituals. The visit concluded with a Q and A session with the Imam. This allowed students to further enhance their understanding of the religious life of a Muslim
