A taste of Morocco

A taste of Morocco!

On Wednesday 10th December 2014 Year 10 students and Seedlings visited Kasbah Café and Bazaar on Bold Street in Liverpool.

Students took part in a workshop in which they saw an authentic chicken tagine being prepared whilst answering questions and observing key skills.

The range of foods tasted and experienced were:

  • Moroccan tea
  • Moroccan bread
  • Rice
  • Chicken tagine with olives and preserved lemon
  • Baklava
  • Moroccan chocolate pancakes

Students greatly enjoyed tasting Moroccan foods and experiencing its culture.

Many thanks to Amine (owner) who led the workshop organised by Mr Balfour.  We look forward to establishing strong links with Kasbah Café and Bazaar who were very generous and hospitable!

A great day out for all.
