Little Rainbows Visit

Year 10 students who are studying Child Development visited Little Rainbows Day Nursery in Wallasey on Wednesday 17th December. Our students had made a pass the parcel game, devised a quiz and written a story for the under 5's. We were made extremely welcome and had a lovely time getting to know the children as they made Christmas glitter pictures, salt dough decorations and packets of ‘Magical Reindeer Food’.

The children enjoyed the quiz, giving us some comical answers to remember e.g. ‘Where does Santa live?’ – ‘Up the chimney’. We then played, a very orderly, pass the parcel and finished our visit with reading them a story, ‘Where is Mrs Christmas?’

Many thanks to the staff of Little Rainbows and, of course, to the delightful children.
