Our news w/c 18th October

We are delighted that our new Mermaid, Paxtonia, has finally been unveiled to the public and is back to where she belongs in Vale Park.

Our original Mermaid was sadly vandalised, with all those hours of work from our dedicated students left in ruins. However, we were determined not to let the shameful actions of a few undermine the good work our students and the enjoyment of many visitors to New Brighton. 

Many hours have gone into creating a new, even better, Paxtonia and we are delighted with the outcome.

Huge thanks to Mr McMillan for his time and commitment, but especially to the wonderful students, who gave up so much of their own time in creating our new mermaid.

We hope she will bring joy to many people for years to come!
