A Look Back at Last Month’s Highlights

Last month, our Year 11 Food students showcased their growing culinary skills by preparing a delicious Spicy Pumpkin Soup, finished with toasted pumpkin seeds. The pumpkins used were grown by staff, giving the project a special, school-grown touch.

We also enjoyed our seasonal Cozy Corner Autumn event, hosted by the Mississippi group. During lunchtime, students sold their handmade pottery, hot dogs, hot chocolates, and a range of autumn-themed cakes. All items were created during their Prep for Work lessons, and the event successfully raised £65, which will support future school activities.

Both events highlighted the creativity, effort, and dedication of our students. Well done to everyone involved for making the month such a success.
