Sports Leaders Award

Level 2 Community Sports Leaders Award
The Sports Leaders Award is an option subject available to students in Years 10 and 11. The course provides learners with the opportunity to develop leadership skills through sport and physical activity, while also supporting their wider personal development.
The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, allowing students to develop and demonstrate their ability to plan, organise and lead sporting activities. It provides an excellent opportunity for learners to develop transferable skills that can be applied both within sport and in wider education, employment and community settings.

The practical nature of the course gives students regular opportunities to put their leadership skills into practice, reflect on their performance and develop greater confidence in leading others.
