Helplines and Out of Hours Services

OUT OF HOURS HELP OR ADVICE
IN A SUDDEN EMERGENCY OR WHERE YOU FEEL IN DANGER, ALWAYS DIAL 999 for HELP.

For non-emergency help dial 101.

Children and young people do not need to struggle alone. Wirral Council now has a live chat feature to support them. It can be found at www.itsneverokwirral.org/chat

Young people can use the live chat to speak to one of the team in confidence, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.  They can also call the council’s existing dedicated helpline for FREE on 0808 196 4147.

Outside of these hours they can contact Childline every day until midnight: 0800 1111.

There are a number of other agencies and charities that offer support to young people and their families. Please find details below.
