English

There are many interactive English lessons that give you immediate feedback available online on the Oak Academy website for each year group and also on BBC Bitesize.

If you prefer to work through a handout then take a look at the resources for your year group.

If you want to improve your grammar skills then have a go at the Spag worksheets at the bottom of this page, for a comprehension task open the file called "Comprehension task" read the article about social distancing and then complete the sheets of questions and vocabulary

Year 9 

Watch Blood Brothers (YouTube) and complete the workbook provided. The script for Blood Brothers can be found here https://idoc.pub/documents/blood-brothers-the-full-script-34m7ggge3z46  or you can collect a copy of the play from the school office.

Work through the powerpoint on "Descriptive Writing", there are activities along the way for you to have a go at.
